The 2010 LifeWalk will take place June 12 at Hales Corners Lutheran Church. Participants will enjoy fun, family friendly activities including continental breakfast, entertainment, children’s activities and lunch. The highlight of the event is the 1.5 mile walk in beautiful Hales Corners. All events are free, but participants are asked to find individuals, church groups and/or businesses to sponsor their participation in the walk. Registration, breakfast and activities begin at 9 a.m. and the walk at 10:30 a.m. with lunch to follow. Hales Corners Lutheran is located at 12300 Janesville Rd. in Hales Corners. All funds raised will benefit pregnant women and their children served by A Place of Refuge Ministries of South WI. We live in busy times, but still need time to grow in our relationship with God to make us better Christian women, wives and mothers. Then here is the perfect opportunity for you—join Lamb of God’s new women’s book and Bible study. The group will use e-mail, chat groups, and possibly Facebook weekly to discuss the book. Once a month we’ll get together for fellowship and to dig a little deeper into the book.

Come to an “Equipping to Share” workshop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Covenant Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Cost is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. Sponsorships are available for those who can't afford the fee.

Lutheran Radio Church Service was aired on WTMJ radio since Feb. 19, 1928, making it one of the longest continuously running free religious programs to have originated on only one station in the history of broadcasting.
